A route to independence

Our employment and skills services, including volunteering, empower people to try new things, learn skills, meet new people, live independently and move towards the world or work.

They give them choice and control over their own future, because that is the way to independence.

Rola and Emad’s Story

Rola, Emad and their family escaped the Syrian civil war for a new life in Nottinghamshire. Emad has been helped to re-establish his mobile phone repair business and, supported by Framework employment service Opportunity & Change, Rola secured employment with Framework.

A pathway of services

We provide a pathway of employment and skills services that support people to develop personally, professionally and emotionally – empowering them to embrace new opportunities and, ultimately, move into training and employment.

Employment support

We provide a range of specialist services that help people with a range of needs to enter the world of work. Some of the people we support have been long-term unemployed; others have additional and complex needs.

Life skills training

We have developed a range of services to teach our residents and service users the skills they will need to live successful, independent lives in our communities.

Volunteering

Our volunteering services give people the chance to  give something back, and to grow personally, professionally and emotionally. They are not about giving something for nothing. It is about giving something and getting much more back in return.

Social enterprise

Our social enterprises give people a chance to experience the world of work in an environment and at a pace that suits them. Ultimately they are about empowering people to develop skills and confidence, and, if they want to, enter the world of work.
