What we do
Each year, we empower more than 18,000 people to achieve a better, independent future regardless of their past or the challenges they may face.
The reasons why people become homeless are complex and every person will have their own story. Our response is designed to meet the needs of each and every individual.
We also work hard to prevent people becoming homeless in the first place, and support people who are rough sleeping into accommodation as a first and essential step towards a fulfilled life.
The vital work we are doing is giving people the opportunity for a better future and in many cases, we are literally saving lives.
Where and how we work
We currently offer support services in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Sheffield.
We make sure the people we support have access to digital technology such as a mobile phone.
We offer support with accessing benefits and budgeting.
We can meet people where they feel comfortable, such as a café or their own home.
We address all the challenges a person is facing as one and provide a holistic approach.

The average age a man sleeping on the streets will die is 45. For a woman it is 41. That’s over 30 years less than the average life expectancy in the UK.
Our work is helping people off the streets and into safe accommodation, giving them the chance for a better future and a fulfilled life. In many cases, we are literally saving lives.
