Accessing employment and skills support is essential in helping people on their personal journey towards a more independent and fulfilled life. This support can act as a catalyst and have a very positive impact on someone’s circumstances or situation.
Employment
Paid work has many social and economic benefits and is also known to aid recovery and resettlement.
Our employment services provide equal and fair access to employment related support for people facing barriers to employment.
Our ongoing ‘in-work support’ is essential in helping people to maintain their job role.
Skills Plus
Skills Plus aims to equip homeless and disadvantaged people with the skills to move on confidently from a supported living environment towards a happy and independent lifestyle that is right for them.
Every package of support is carefully curated to meet the diverse needs of each individual or group we support.
Digital inclusion
We make sure that the people we support are not digitally excluded. We help them access IT equipment and develop the skills needed to build a rewarding and independent future. We recycle donated computer and phone equipment, provide internet access and train individuals in the practical IT skills required for everyday life.
Volunteering
Volunteering provides individuals with invaluable work experience and high quality training in order to develop new skills.
It also gives them an opportunity to make a positive difference to people’s lives, as well as moving towards employment and independence.
Make a referral
We deliver a number of specialist employment services for people with a diverse range of needs. The majority of our services require a referral via Framework or another relevant local organisation. If you currently have a Support Worker please ask them for more information. A small number of our employment services accept self-referrals (which means you can contact us directly for support). These are listed below.
