Helping our staff be the best they can be

When you start your career with Framework you get a lot more in return than just your monthly salary. We want to support and develop you to be the best employee you can be – in and out of the workplace. That’s why we offer a wide range of rewards and benefits to all our staff.

Training and career development

We take career development very seriously and offer a comprehensive training package if it’s something you are interested in.
You can sign up to do professional qualifications such as an NVQ, or a Leadership Programme run with the Chartered Management Institute, which offers qualifications at different levels. Best of all, it’ll all be paid for by us.

Annual leave

Our annual leave entitlement starts at 32 days a year, including Bank Holidays, rising by 1 day every two years to 37 days.
You can bank up to one week each year towards a short career break of up to 6 months in the future.

Employee Assistance Programme

Our Employee Assistance Programme is a free service for all employees and their family members, which can be accessed 24 hours, 7 days a week. It provides confidential support, counselling, advice and guidance on a wide range of personal and family issues.

Framework has a stakeholder scheme with Scottish Widows. You need to contribute a minimum of 1% of your salary and Framework will match your contribution up to a maximum of 5%.

Life assurance

If you pass away while employed by Framework, and are under the state pension age, a nominated member of your family could receive three times your annual salary. This is subject to Trustee approval.

Maternity, Paternity, Adoption and Parental Leave

Statutory maternity pay is enhanced to half your normal salary for the first six months of maternity leave. Paternity leave is full pay for 2 weeks. Adoption leave is also enhanced. Parental leave is in line with statutory rights.

Flexible working

We are committed to offering flexible working arrangements and part-time opportunities to all our workers. We will do what we can to accommodate your circumstances by agreement with your line manager.

Pay rises

Your starting salary is based on a job evaluation and grading system. Each job is evaluated against local and national markets and the grades set for the position. Each grade has three points within it and you are moved an incremental point for each year of service to the top of the grade. Each year salaries are reviewed and a pay increase agreed and implemented throughout.

Career break

We offer the opportunity for employees to bank annual leave, where appropriate, to then take a career break at a later date.

  • Childcare – We operate a scheme with Busy Bees to help you make savings on childcare of up to £1,000 a year. You will also receive access to a range of discounts at more than 2000 retailers including all the major high street shops and supermarkets.
  • Cycle 2 Work – Employees can purchase bikes through the Cycle 2 Work scheme, which saves tax and national insurance on the cost of the bike.
  • Gym membership – Employees can get a discounted rate for a number of gyms throughout the East Midlands, including Nuffield Health, Fitness First, Bannantynes and Nottingham City Council Leisure.

Sick pay

During your first year of employment, if you are off sick you will receive 90% pay for one month. This rises to six months at 90% pay and six months at half pay after 6 years’ service.

Job satisfaction

Of course working for Framework brings its own inherent benefits every single day. You are not just working for an organisation, you are working as part of an organisational-wide team working together to support those who require our help. From working directly with rough sleepers to helping vulnerable teenagers meet their potential, we offer a huge amount of job satisfaction. Each day will be different and bring challenges, however the outcomes will make all the hard work worthwhile.
