Marketing and Communications Assistant, Nottingham

Framework staff

I am a Marketing and Communications Assistant in Framework’s Communications Team. This is my first full-time employed position since completing a Master’s Degree in 2022.

My role was created specifically to support the team at Nottingham Recovery Network, to help launch and maintain their new website and assist with and facilitate their communications activity.

My job is varied and I have taken on additional responsibilities, including maintaining Framework’s website and our intranet system, writing and facilitating blogs, and responding to enquiries in the Communications Team inbox.

In the last year I have also carried out research and presented my findings to the Fundraising Team to support the development of Framework’s Digital Strategy. I have also helped with fundraising events and even appeared in a photo shoot for the Framework website!

In essence, what I enjoy most about the role is the dynamic nature and the opportunity it provides to learn more about social housing and substance use support.

Being able to lend my skills to support Nottingham Recovery Network and contribute to the broader mission of Framework has been incredibly rewarding, both professionally and as an individual.
