Amidst these most challenging times Framework will be marking an important anniversary this year.
Framework came into being 20 years ago and in the two decades since then the charity has helped many tens of thousands of people in need of housing, treatment, training, employment and support.
1 July 2001 saw the merger of two small Nottingham homelessness charities – Macedon and Nottingham Help the Homeless Association who had for years been competing for the same pots of funding but whose combined effectiveness was greater than the sum of the parts.
From an operational base largely in Nottingham and helping a few thousand people each year Framework now supports more than 18,000 people annually across Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Sheffield and with a far wider range of services.
An extensive programme of events will take place throughout the year to raise funds, make new friends and raise the profile of the people we support and the work we do to help them.
