About

When you’ve been through life changing events, getting back to a normal life can feel like an impossible task. Even the thought of going outside and meeting new people can feel too daunting. But that’s where we come in and where we want to help.

The Community Connector service is here to support you in reducing your social isolation, building your confidence and increasing your skills and knowledge. We can support you on a one-to-one basis, at group workshops or a combination of both.

We can:

  • Support you to attend groups in your community such as arts, crafts, walking, gardening and many more
  • Help you to find volunteering, educational or employment opportunities
  • Offer a range of group workshops covering universal credit, housing, debt, building confidence and maintaining positive relationships.

Contact and referral

If the Community Connector or Health and Wellbeing service sounds like the support you need, please speak to your Support Worker who can make a referral. And if you’re interested in both services that’s fine too, you’re not limited to using only one of the services.
