People generously support Framework in many ways including our volunteers who selflessly give their time and talents. Chief among this army of unsung heroes are the members of the Framework Board who guide the strategic vision of the charity and empower our work in innumerable ways.
We have a Board of experienced, focused and dedicated individuals which we are seeking to enhance through the appointments of trustees who can contribute to the strategic direction and oversight of our expanding organisation.
If you share our values and our commitment to improving the lives of homeless and vulnerable people, please consider sharing your experience and expertise to drive forward our live-changing and live-saving work.
We work in a challenging environment where the landscape is continually changing. Budgets for support services have been drastically cut and are still reducing in real terms.
Meanwhile, as the housing crisis escalates and the cost of living crisis intensifies, demand for our services has never been higher.
This requires us to consider carefully how to raise new funds and create efficiency without compromising on quality.
By joining Framework as a Trustee/ Board Member, you would become part of a renewed team that will work with the Senior Leadership to navigate these issues.
This is an opportunity to make a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable people in society.
We are particularly interested in hearing from volunteers with experience in the following areas:
- Finance and Risk
- Asset Management and Development
- Health and/or Social Care
- IT, Digital development and transformation
- HR, Organisational Development
- Housing and Supported Housing
- Offender Management/Probation Services.
Former board member Jane Geraghty describes her experience:
“What makes Framework special is its persistence in working with traumatised people with the most complex needs. The charity prioritises work with people in greatest need and who are the hardest to reach.
“Anyone thinking of offering their services will learn so much and be faced with the real challenges in today’s stressed world. Don’t be afraid to draw on your own experience”.
