Join Framework’s Community Quilt Project

A year-long celebration of hope, care, and the power of people coming together.

We’re inviting individuals, families, schools, community groups, creative circles, and supporters of all ages to help us build a breathtaking Community Quilt –  a one‑of‑a‑kind artwork made from 250 unique fabric panels, each one created by someone who cares about ending homelessness.

Every panel represents 1,000 people supported by Framework over the last 25 years, forming a powerful, stitched‑together tribute to the 250,000 lives changed – all made possible by people like you.

Why we’re creating the quilt

For 25 years, Framework has been a place of safety, compassion, and hope. None of this would have been possible without our wider community — people showing up, standing alongside others, and choosing to care.

The Community Quilt is our way of honouring that shared strength.

Each panel is a story, a message of solidarity, a piece of art created with love. And when joined together by a professional seamstress, those pieces will form a beautiful, collective symbol of what community really means.

The finished quilt will be unveiled for the very first time at Framework’s Annual Carol Service at Southwell Minster on Friday 4 December 2026 — a moment to reflect, celebrate, and look forward with hope.

  • share updates and creative guidance
  • track our progress toward 250 panels
  • make sure everyone has the materials they need
You can choose between:
Requesting a FREE starter kit or using your own materials
Either way, you’ll receive everything you need to get started – inspiration, instructions, and a warm welcome into the project.

Creating and returning your panel

Panels should be completed by September 2026 so we can bring the full quilt together in time for its public unveiling.

Returning your panel is simple:

  • Use your FREEPOST envelope (included in starter kits), or
  • Drop it off at Framework’s Head Office (VAl Roberts House, 25 Gregory Blvd, Forest Fields, Nottingham, NG7 6NX)

We can’t wait to see what you create.

Be part of something special

By making a panel, you’re joining a movement of people who believe in compassion, connection, and community.

Together, we’re creating:
  • a stunning collaborative artwork
  • a celebration of 25 years of standing beside those without a home
  • a visual reminder of the 250,000 lives changed — and the lives still to be changed
Add your voice. Add your creativity. Add your square to the quilt.
