We lead this countywide service working in partnership with Longhurst Group, Nacro and The Salvation Army.
LHRSP provides supported accommodation for men and women aged 18 and over, who are homeless or vulnerably housed
The service includes emergency hostel accommodation with 24-hour staff support and dispersed accommodation: people stay for up to six months with priority for rough sleepers or young people leaving the care system. LHRSP also includes a support service for people in temporary accommodation or their own tenancy who are at risk of losing their home.
Service users are supported to access to suitable long-term housing and gain independent living skills e.g. managing money, developing motivation, and tackling drug, alcohol and mental health issues or offending behaviours.
Referrals are via local council housing options teams and include a triage assessment to determine eligibility. The referral is passed to Framework’s Central Access Point who engage partners in each area.
