Reflecting on a season of partnership and impact

This year, Framework had the opportunity to step into a completely new kind of partnership as we were selected as the Charity of the Year by the Nottingham Panthers for their 24/25 season.
At the start of the season, we didn’t know exactly what the partnership would bring. It was the first of its kind for us, so we approached it with open minds, a sense of curiosity, and the hope that we could raise awareness of our work in a new space. What followed was a season of teamwork, generosity, and genuine community spirit.
Over the course of the 2024/25 season, we joined the Panthers at home games, ran a raffle, handed out leaflets and merchandise, and took every opportunity to talk to fans about what Framework does. Along the way, we raised an incredible total of £10,724.91 through a combination of donations, raffle sales, fundraising activities organised by the Panthers, and in-kind support like a corporate box night and promotional shoutouts.
Our logo was displayed on the big screen, we were mentioned at every home game, and for one special night, we even featured on the team’s official jersey. Seven home games saw Framework staff present, chatting with fans, building awareness, and representing the organisation proudly in front of thousands.

Some of the most memorable moments came off the ice. One of the highlights of the season was being able to invite service users and colleagues to enjoy a live match from the comfort of the corporate box. For many, it was their first time attending an ice hockey game, and the excitement, laughter and sheer enjoyment throughout the night made it a truly special experience for everyone involved.
What this partnership reminded me is that impact comes in many forms. Yes, we raised a brilliant amount of money, but just as importantly, we made connections, started conversations, and introduced Framework to a whole new audience.
“The Panthers were honoured to partner with Framework last season as our Charity of the Year. The positive impact they have in Nottingham and across the East Midlands is so important and we thought it was vital to showcase the amazing work they do.”
– Nottingham Panthers Fan Liaison Officer, Lisa Rawding
A huge thank you to everyone at the Nottingham Panthers who supported this partnership. It’s been a fantastic season, and we’ve been proud to be a small part of it.
