Join Framework’s Community Quilt

A collaborative art project celebrating 25 years of care, connection and support.

We’re inviting people of all ages and abilities to help create a beautiful Community Quilt made up of 250 individual panels, each one inspired by home, hope, care or connection.

What is the Community Quilt?

Over the past 25 years, Framework has supported more than 250,000 people. None of this would have been possible without the power of community – people showing up, caring, and standing alongside one another.

That’s why we’re creating the Community Quilt.

The quilt will be made up of 250 individual panels, with each panel representing 1,000 people who have been supported — all helped by the involvement of people like you.

Each panel will be carefully stitched together by a professional seamstress to form one stunning quilt – a powerful visual celebration of care built by community.

The completed quilt will be showcased for the first time at Framework’s Annual Carol Service at Southwell Minster, on Friday 4 December 2026.

Who can take part?

Everyone is welcome! Everyone.

  • Individuals
  • Schools and youth groups
  • Scout and Guide groups
  • Churches and faith groups
  • WIs, Rotary Clubs and community organisations
  • Craft circles and creative groups

All ages and all abilities are welcome. Beginners are encouraged! Being part of a community is about people coming together, and that’s exactly what this quilt represents. All of us.

How to get involved

To take part, everyone must complete our online form. This allows us to keep in touch with updates and guidance, share inspiration and key information, and make sure we reach our goal of 250 panels.

When completing the form, you can choose to request a FREE starter kit or join using your own materials.

Creating and returning your panel

Panels are expected to be completed by October 2026, allowing time for the quilt to be assembled.

Finished panels can be returned using a FREEPOST envelope (included in starter kits) or via drop-off locations, including Framework Head Office (FAO Val Roberts). Additional drop-off points will be shared with participants.
