The Teenage Parents Services, based at Sunrise House, provides safe and secure accommodation for vulnerable young women with nowhere else to go. In doing so we are helping to prevent homelessness and its damaging long-term impact. By offering a temporary home Sunrise House helps to alleviate crisis and gives young women a solid and supported base from which build independent and successful lives – for them and their children. Residents are expected to participate in support planning to boost their skills and confidence and a resettlement programme. Staff assist service users in finding appropriate move-on accommodation and equipping them with the skills needed for independent living. Referrals are made through Nottingham City Council.
