About
Our Homeless Families Service provides 18 units of temporary accommodation for homeless families in Nottingham with nowhere else to go. The service, funded by Nottingham City Council, provides accommodation for homeless households for a period of up to three months whilst they are found more appropriate long-term accommodation. Before the service was commissioned, too many homeless household were finding themselves in unsuitable bed and breakfast or hotel accommodation, which were disruptive to family life and inappropriate for raising young children. Residents in the service receive visiting support from Framework staff, who work to ensure all their needs are addressed. Referrals are made through via the Nottingham City Council Housing Gateway.
