Over £25,000 raised from Framework’s Gala Dinner

On Friday 10th October, more than 150 guests gathered at The Belfry Hotel in Nottingham for Framework’s first Gala Dinner in over seven years — and what a night it was! The evening was a shining example of what can be achieved when our community comes together with a shared purpose to make a difference.

The evening began in true “Dress to Impress” fashion, with guests arriving in their finest attire to a red carpet entrance and welcome drinks reception. Once guests had the chance to mingle, enjoy a complimentary drink, and pose for photos, Mark Dennison welcomed all those in attendance for a delicious three-course meal and an unforgettable night ahead.

During dinner, guests heard from Framework’s newly appointed CEO, Claire McGonigle, who spoke passionately about the charity’s vision for the future and the vital role supporters play in helping to end homelessness. The speech was followed by a short film to launch Framework’s Winter Appeal. The film touched the hearts of many in the room, highlighting the challenges faced by people without a safe place to call home, and the life-changing impact that fundraising has in allowing Framework to create new homes and provide tailored support for vulnerable people in Nottingham and beyond.

Thanks to the event sponsors, ticket sales, the raffle and the silent auction, as well as other generous contributions on the evening, the Gala Dinner raised a remarkable total of £25,654.17 for Framework!

Every penny raised from this event will go towards Framework’s Winter Appeal, which will support the creation of brand new homes for former rough sleepers in 2026, helping people take their first steps towards independence and stability.

After dinner, guests took to the dance floor to enjoy an outstanding, high-energy performance from The Money. The combination of live music, great company, and an uplifting cause made for an unforgettable evening.
