Access Recovery Support Online

At Framework, we are proud to be the lead partner of Nottingham Recovery Network, a single point of free support and advice for people in Nottingham facing drug and alcohol issues.

Nottingham Recovery Network has recently launched a new online offer: the Digital Doorway to Change.

We are excited to provide a waiting list free programme where patients who have access needs, work or family commitments, can start their recovery journey online.

Anyone living in Nottingham city who needs a more accessible route into support can now do so following an initial assessment at The Wellbeing Hub. The programme provides 1:1 sessions with an allocated key worker, optional peer support groups, and online resources through myCarePath where users can track recovery goals and actions, fill out daily use diaries, keep up to date with appointments and more.

“The online support offered by Nottingham Recovery Network through its new Digital Doorway to Change programme will enable more people to access the help and treatment they need to address issues with drugs and alcohol.

In partnership with the Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, Double Impact and Al-Hurraya, our goal is to make drug and alcohol treatment as accessible as possible for all the people of Nottingham.

Digital Doorway to Change has been designed to break down the barriers when accessing treatment services.”

– Apollos Clifton-Brown, Director of Health and Social Care at Framework

Nottingham Recovery Network is supported by Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation trust, Double Impact and Al-Hurraya. It is an inclusive and judgement free service that offers treatment to anyone over the age of 18 who wants to improve their relationship with drugs and alcohol. We believe that recovery is a human right, and that everyone should have access to support throughout that journey, in whatever way and for as long as they need.

From health screenings to support groups, hospital referrals and employment skills, Nottingham Recovery Network helps 3,500 individuals each year through every step of their recovery journey. We are excited to now be able to extend this support to even more people by providing an online, adaptable pathway that can fit around busy schedules.

We hope that the Digital Doorway to Change will open up the possibility of recovery to those who may not have been able to access help before, and that we will see even more people in Nottingham living a full and meaningful life free of substance use issues.
