Framework’s Exhibition at Lincoln Cathedral
From trauma to hope to independence
To celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are creating a unique touring exhibition that will bring together lived experience, frontline perspectives and artistic responses to explore the realities of homelessness, recovery and support.
Bringing together paintings, installations, spoken word, real-life testimonies and a collage of ‘street sounds’ experienced by people sleeping rough, our dedicated exhibition invites visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges people can face and the role support can play in helping them move forward.
It features major new works by local artist Beatrice Giaquinto, a spoken word performance by Dave ‘Stickman’ Higgins, and an original artwork by artist Inge Tong, all inspired by the experiences of Framework staff and service users.
There will be an accompanying collection of poetry plus a series of art postcards, all created by Framework service users, available for sale at selected exhibition venues and by contacting Framework’s Fundraising team.
Exhibition Dates:
- Southwell Minster Cathedral: 10 – 20 October 2026
- Lincoln Cathedral (Chapter House): 27 October – 5 November 2026
- St Mary’s Church, Nottingham: 17 – 22 November 2026
- Nottingham Central Library (virtual exhibition): selected afternoons in January 2027 to be confirmed
- Stealth, Nottingham (Beat the Streets Festival): Sunday 31 January 2027
The exhibition can be browsed at your own pace and will feature description cards and information. Please check venue websites for opening times.
Entry is free, with the exception of Lincoln Cathedral, where there is a standard entry fee.
