Southwell Minster Carol Service

06 Nov 2019
Start Date
6 November 2019, 7pm
Southwell Minster , Southwell, Nottinghamshire

Creating the traditional spirit of Christmas in the inspiring surrounding of the Minster, this will be a service of lessons and carols with plenty of popular carols to sing and Christmas readings.

There will also be contributions from the girls and lay clerks of the famous Minster Choir including a song written specially for Framework – Reach Out and Lend a Helping Hand.

Organiser Chris Senior said: “Homelessness is part of the Christmas story and so a carol service supporting a charity like Framework will always be a special occasion.”

The service will last about an hour and is followed by seasonal refreshments.

Everyone is welcome, and seats may be reserved online here until Friday 22nd November subject to availability. Or, if you are unable to access the internet, call 0115 970 9558.

The service takes place by kind permission of the Cathedral Chapter and is generously supported once again by Ann Rowen, Andrew Spybey and Associates, and Southwell Rotary.

A special Christmas carol service takes place at Southwell Minster on Friday 6th December at 7.00pm.
