Sleep Out so others don't have to
Rough sleeping remains a serious issue in Mansfield - the most significant centre of rough sleeping in the county outside of Nottingham. Tonight - and every night - we believe that around seven people are sleeping rough in town.
At The Mansfield Big Snore more than 100 people will spend the night sleeping outside for one night, raising funds for Framework's Sherwood Street Centre to give people the chance to escape homelessness for good.
The event raises funds to allow former rough sleepers living at the Centre to get into long-term accommodation more quickly and successfully - and as a result this increases the numbers of people who can move in. Demand for the Centre is so high that waiting lists are often closed: Homelessness remains on the rise, people need our help and we need your support.
*The date of this event has been moved because of severe weather conditions to Friday March 1. If you have a confirmed place for the postponed event you will automatically be offered a place for the rearranged event.
