The Mansfield Appeal

Framework is launching a £30,000 appeal to step up the fight against rough sleeping in Mansfield.

Demand for Framework accommodation services is increasing, including at the Sherwood Street Centre in Mansfield. People staying in these services are met with a severe lack of options for moving on in to their own home, which in turn leaves more people sleeping rough as bed spaces remain full.

Starting with The Mansfield Big Snore in February, Framework aims to raise funds to tackle this problem by providing extra support to help more vulnerable people move away from homelessness forever. Every penny raised will help Framework achieve this and reduce the number of people sleeping on the streets of Mansfield.

You can help reduce the number of people sleeping rough by donating to The Mansfield Appeal.

The Mansfield Big Snore

Organised by St Mark's Church, Mansfield in aid of Framework

The Mansfield Big Snore was held on Friday 3rd February 2012 – over 70 Framework supporters and volunteers spent the night sleeping outside to raise money for homeless and vulnerable people in Mansfield and Ashfield.

Sleep out so that others don't have to.

The number of people sleeping rough is increasing across the region. This has come at a time of dramatic cuts to funding, forcing some Framework services for homeless and vulnerable people to close and the capacity of some remaining services bring significantly reduced. Local people need your help.

Registration for the event is now closed. Please check back in early 2013!
