Training & employment (EVE Works)
EVE Works (Education, Volunteering and Employment) services provide learning, training, volunteering and employment opportunities.
The service provides a range of initiatives to support unemployed individuals into employment and greater independence. The initiatives include accredited training courses and employment programmes, and are designed to give people the skills, confidence and experience they need to find work or meaningful occupation.
EVE Works supports people to make realistic and informed decisions about their future employment goals and supports them to achieve those goals.
Support is offered with any of the following:
- Exploring suitable career options
- Finding the right training course
- Finding and applying for a volunteer placement
- Accessing literacy, numeracy and ESOL courses
- Gaining employability skills
- CV writing and interview skills
- Help to apply for jobs
These services enable EVE Works to provide targeted support to meet the needs of the unemployed in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
