Social enterprises and opportunity

Framework's social enterprises provide high quality products and services on a commercial basis. They differ from traditional businesses in their approach to staffing and profit, which is used only to generate new opportunities.

From former rough sleepers and offenders to recovering drug users and the long-term unemployed, many of the people we work with find themselves at the back of the employment queue. We help them by:

  • Providing opportunities where they did not exist before
  • Providing vital training and skills
  • Providing a reference and work history
  • Building confidence and self esteem
  • Improving the public perception of vulnerable client groups

Our social enterprises allow us to offer opportunities where few existed before – to give employment and training choices to those who, for a variety of reasons, have been excluded from the conventional employment market. We give people opportunities they probably would not have had otherwise. To see people making the most of those opportunities and really flourishing is hugely satisfying to us all."
