I was homeless before I moved here. It was scary because I didn’t know what was going to happen. I felt powerless. I’ve been here for three or four months and it’s been great so far. It’s been great to have a roof over my head but it’s also taught me a lot about life.
I’ve had to pay rent and bills for the first time, which was quite a shock at first because you just don’t learn about that stuff in school. It’s really been an education here. It’s helped me to grow up a lot and realise that I could live alone in future.
It’s a journey [living with Framework] and this place has helped me to get half way there. I hope to take the skills I’ve learned here so I can live independently in the future.”
