How we help
Framework provides a wide range of services that change and save lives in three main ways:
- By preventing homelessness
- By stopping rough sleeping
- By helping people to live independently
The journey away from homelessness does not end with settled accommodation. We offer training, education, volunteering and employment opportunities that truly help people to leave homelessness behind and to move on with their lives.
A summary of our services is listed below.
Providing a roof over somebody’s head is just the first step in their journey away from homelessness and into independent living.
Homelessness prevention services work by offering practical help and support to people whose problems may lead to the loss of their home.
The weight of the legal process can be heavily stacked against vulnerable people at risk losing their home. Framework redresses that balance.
Drug and alcohol work
Framework offers a range of services to help prevent and combat drug and alcohol related homelessness and social exclusion.
Volunteering gives vulnerable people a vital route back into society; a chance to learn new skills ahead of a return to work and / or independent living.
Working in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Rutland, our Street Outreach Teams are at the front line of the fight against rough sleeping and street homelessness.
Framework’s housing support services help people who have nowhere to live to find a suitable home where they can live independently.
Training & employment (EVE Works)
EVE Works helps unemployed and vulnerable people into sustainable and appropriate employment in partnership with the UK Government.
Social enterprises and opportunity (EVE Trades)
EVE Trades is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that manages Framework’s range of life-changing social enterprises.
Central Access Point
The Central Access Point (CAP) provides a fast and effective referral service for applications to floating support and accommodation services in Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Doncaster.
Gateway to Nature
Gateway to Nature supports people who want to overcome barriers to getting out and enjoying natural and green spaces.
What to do if you are homeless
Many homeless people do not get the help they need and are entitled to for one simple reason: they don’t ask for it. But help is at hand no matter how bad your situation appears.
