About us

Framework’s Potter Street accommodation, in the heart of Worksop, provides short stay accommodation and support for up to 16 single homeless people and couples. Staff offer a range of practical advice and support, helping residents with their budgeting skills, benefits, health issues, accessing leisure activities and finding employment or training. The aim of the service is to help vulnerable people to acquire the skills and confidence needed to live independently.

What we are doing

Potter Street is providing a temporary home for people who would otherwise be homeless – often through no fault of their own. Preventing homelessness is about far more than merely providing a roof over people’s heads. Long term solutions can only be achieved by the kind of advice and support offered by services like Potter Street. The service provides so much more than just a bed for the night; it provides a solid and supported base from which homeless people can begin their recovery with dignity and security, and plan for the rest of their lives.
Potter Street is just one of several Framework accommodation centres that gives vulnerable people a second chance.

Referral process

People can be referred to Potter Street in many different ways, either in person or via an external agency. Please contact the service for an application form.
