- Nottingham, NG7
Aidan House provides accommodation and housing related support for young women aged 16 to 21 who are pregnant or who have young children. The accommodation is situated in a large shared house and self contained flats in Nottingham. Residents are expected to participate in support planning to boost their skills and confidence and a resettlement programme. Staff assist service users in finding appropriate move-on accommodation and equipping them with the skills needed for independent living.
What We Are Doing
Aidan House is providing safe and secure accommodation for vulnerable young women with nowhere else to go. In doing so it is helping to prevent the prospect of homelessness and its damaging and expensive long-term impacts. By offering a temporary home Aidan House helps to alleviate crisis and gives young women a solid and supported base from which build independent and successful lives.
