For people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, the resulting stigma and isolation from their community can be as destructive as the lack of a stable home. Engaging with communities is just one of the ways we can start to break down the barriers and misconceptions around homelessness.
Framework's curriculum-led education pack for Primary Schools has been developed to help children to:
- Understand the impact of homelessness in their local community
- Know that homelessness is preventable but if it happens that help is available
- Recognise that they are not powerless to help others
