Team Framework - a sea of orange in the Lincolnshire Community

25 Mar 2015

On Sunday 22nd March, 23 brave people threw on their orange Framework t-shirt and completed the Lincoln 10k on behalf of Framework.

To date the runners have raised over £1200 which will be used to allow Framework to help more homeless and vulnerable people across Lincolnshire.

The Lincoln 10k has provided the perfect starting point for raising the profile of Framework in Lincolnshire and with 23 runners, 20 volunteers on the route and 2 volunteers in the charity village it’s safe to say we provided a beautiful sea of orange in the Lincolnshire community.

The fastest runner of Team Framework completed the route in a fantastic 46 minutes and has individually raised £70 (and still counting) towards the final total.

Events like the Lincoln 10k are incredibly important for Framework as not only do they raise vital funds but they give us the opportunity to be engaging with the community. W

Framework has been working in Lincolnshire for around 4 years and unfortunately not many people know who we are or what we do. The Lincoln 10k has provided a perfect starting point for us to change that and we hope that in time more people will join us in spreading the word about what support Framework can give should they need it.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank A1 Signs in Lincoln for providing a banner for our cheer zone, Red and Silver photography for taking our team photo and most importantly all of our runners and volunteers for giving up their Sunday to get involved for Framework.
