Flexible Working

Framework is committed to offering flexible working arrangements and part time opportunities to all its workers. We will do what we can to accommodate your circumstances by agreement with your line manager.

Annual Leave

Annual leave entitlement starts at 32 days a year, including Bank Holidays, rising by 1 day every two years to 37 days.
You can bank up to one week each year towards a short career break of up to 6 months in the future.

Pay rises

Your starting salary is based on 90% of the rate for the job. After you have completed your first year of service, your salary will rise to 95% and after 2 years to 100% In addition to this, Framework normally awards a cost of living increase each year on 1st April.

Sick Pay

During your first year of employment, if you are off sick you will receive 90% pay for one month. This rises to six months at 90% pay and six months at half pay after 6 years service.

Maternity, Paternity, Adoption and Parental Leave

Statutory maternity pay is enhanced to half your normal salary for the first six months of maternity leave. Paternity leave is full pay for 2 weeks. Adoption leave is also enhanced. Parental leave is in line with statutory rights.

Pension

Framework has a stakeholder scheme with Scottish Widows. You need to contribute a minimum of 1% of your salary. Framework will match your contribution up to a maximum of 5%.

Group Life Assurance

Applies to all employees when they begin working for Framework. If you die whilst an employee of Framework, 3 times your basic salary will be paid to your nominated recipient[s]. This is subject to Trustee approval.

Employee Assistance Programme

EAP is a 7 day, 24 hour service for all employees and their family members, providing confidential support, counselling, advice and guidance.

Salary Pay Date

Salaries are paid direct into a bank or building society account of your choice by the 25th of each month. If the 25th falls on a Saturday or Bank Holiday, payment will be made the next available working day.

Car and Bicycle Allowances

For car users the casual user allowance is 45p per mile for the first 350 miles each month, after that 35p per mile. For bicycles it is 12p per mile.

Lunch breaks

Lunch breaks are by local agreement with line manager but there is a minimum half hour break for all shifts over 6 hours.

Supervision and Appraisal

All workers have a right to regular supervisions, a probationary review and annual appraisals with their line manager.

´╗┐Wellbeing and Fitness

Framework employees can apply for a discounted corporate membership to the Fitness First Scheme which is operated by the Nottingham City Council.  Full members are entitled to access anyone of nine leisure centre facilities located within the City of Nottingham.  The full membership also gives employees unlimited use of the swimming pools, gyms and fitness classes available across the range of facilities.
